Pixel Flow Level 628 Walkthrough

This level features a large, pixelated hourglass encased in a heavy industrial frame. The main colors are maroon and green for the outer pipes, white for the glass structure, and a mix of beige, teal, and purple for the sand inside. Two massive blue laser beams block the vertical sides of the hourglass, making it impossible to shoot the center from the left or right flanks initially.

The rules are strict. You must peel the layers from the outside in. If you pick up pigs for the inner "sand" colors before breaking the outer "pipe" shell, you will choke your slots and fail. Because of the laser obstructions and the dense layering of the pipe frame, Pixel Flow Level 628 is a very hard level.

Pixel Flow Level 628 Overview

Imagine a countdown timer locked inside a cage. That’s this board. You are looking at a beige hourglass set against a dark background, but you can barely touch it at first because it is protected by a thick border of intertwining pipes.

The border is asymmetric in color but symmetric in shape. The top and upper sides are dominated by Green Pipes, while the bottom and lower sides are wrapped in Maroon (Dark Purple) Pipes. Inside the glass, the "sand" isn't just one color. While mostly beige, there is a Teal patch on the top-left and bottom-left, and a Purple patch on the top-right and bottom-right.

The most dangerous visual elements are the two vertical blue lasers. They act as shields. Any pig shooting from the side will have its ammo blocked by these beams until you destroy the emitters (the grey and red devices) at the ends of the laser.

First Color Zone to Erase in Pixel Flow Level 628

You must attack the Maroon and Green Pipes first. This is non-negotiable.

Logically, these pipes form the "crust" of the level. They physically sit on top of the hourglass and the laser emitters. Until these pipes are gone, your White, Beige, Teal, and Purple pigs are useless trash that will just clog your five slots.

I usually start with the Green pigs if they appear on the belt, aiming to clear the top arch. This opens up the top of the hourglass. However, watch the conveyor belt closely. If a cluster of Maroon pigs comes first, clear the bottom "U" shape of pipes. Your goal is to expose the white outline of the hourglass and, critically, the laser emitters at the corners.

How to pass Pixel Flow Level 628 without power ups or boosters

The mid-game here is brutal because of the lasers. Once the green/maroon pipes are gone, you will see the White outline and the Beige sand. But you cannot simply spam Beige pigs yet.

The lasers on the left and right block shots from the side. You have to destroy the Laser Emitters. These are the grey mechanical blocks at the top and bottom of the blue beams. They are often vulnerable once the pipe layer is stripped. Focus your fire on the corners of the hourglass where these emitters sit.

If you refuse to use power ups, your slot management must be perfect.

  1. Ignore the Center: Do not pick up Beige pigs if the lasers are still active and you can only shoot from the sides. You will waste ammo hitting the invincible laser beam.
  2. Top/Bottom Attack: Since the lasers block the sides, use the top and bottom of the conveyor belt to shoot vertical columns of the hourglass sand.
  3. The Key Trap: You will see yellow keys inside the hourglass. Ignore them. They usually unlock deeper layers or clear black blocks, but they are often buried under the sand. Focus on clearing the White outline pigs to expose the sand fully.

Last Details You Clean Up in Pixel Flow Level 628

Once the lasers are down and the white glass outline is shattered, the level becomes a simple cleanup job, but don't get lazy.

The final few moves will involve the Teal and Purple patches inside the sand. These colors are often "buried" slightly deeper or mixed in with the Beige. It is easy to miss a single Teal voxel hiding behind a Beige block.

Keep one slot open for a high-ammo Beige pig to sweep the main body of the sand. Use your other slots to snipe the specific Teal and Purple clusters. The very last blocks are usually the black background tiles at the very top, which might only be exposed after the top half of the hourglass is completely drained. Watch the top corners. That’s where the last pixels hide.
