Pixel Flow Whale Level Walkthrough

This level introduces you to a massive pixel art scene featuring a blue whale swimming through ocean foam. While Level 1 was a basic tutorial, Pixel Flow Whale Level adds a significant obstacle: a large wooden Chest sitting at the bottom center of the grid, blocking direct shots from that angle. You will also see Golden Keys resting on top of specific voxel columns. To collect a key, you must destroy the blocks underneath it.

The rules are straightforward: match the pig color to the block color. However, because of the chest, you cannot simply spam pigs from the starting position. You have to let them ride the conveyor belt to find open angles. Is this a very hard level? No. It is not a very hard level, but it is the first one that forces you to think about shooting angles.

Pixel Flow Whale Level Overview

The artwork depicts a large, blocky Blue Whale. It’s a cheerful scene. The whale is colored in shades of Teal and Light Blue, outlined in Black. It is surrounded by a chaotic mix of White foam and Dark Blue water patches.

The layout is asymmetric because of the giant Chest at the bottom. The chest acts as a shield for the pixels directly behind it (the whale’s belly).

  • The Belt: The conveyor moves counter-clockwise. Pigs spawn at the bottom left, travel right along the bottom, up the right side, left across the top, and down the left side.
  • The Trap: If you deploy a pig while it is directly under the chest, and its only targets are behind that chest, it will do nothing. It will waste time riding the belt all the way to the top or sides before it can fire. This delay can clog up your board if you aren't careful.

Step by step solution walkthrough for Pixel Flow Whale Level

First Color Zone to Erase in Pixel Flow Whale Level

I start by clearing the White pixels.

Narratively, this is just clearing the sea foam so we can see the whale clearly. Logically, the White blocks are the "safest" first move for two reasons. First, they are scattered all over the outer edges of the board, meaning a White pig will almost immediately find a target and empty its ammo regardless of where you place it. Second, clearing the white noise exposes the Dark Blue and Teal layers underneath, giving you better options for your next pigs.

Don't worry about the keys yet. Focus on removing the single largest color group to declutter your visual field.

How to pass Pixel Flow Whale Level without power ups or boosters

About halfway through, the board looks like a mess. The white foam is gone, and you are left with the whale's body (Teal/Light Blue) and the deep ocean water (Dark Blue). The Chest is still sitting there, likely with a countdown number on it, annoying you.

This is the danger zone for ammo management. You might see a Teal Pig in your queue. You look at the board and see the whale's belly is Teal. However, that belly is hidden behind the Chest.

Do not panic and use a booster. Here is the strategy:

  1. Check the Belt: Look at where your pig will travel. Since the chest blocks the bottom shots, you need that Teal pig to travel to the Top or Right side of the board to hit the whale.
  2. Wait: Deploy the pig, but understand it won't shoot immediately. It has to ride the belt.
  3. Clear the Sides: Prioritize Dark Blue pigs if available. The Dark Blue blocks are mostly on the left and right edges of the artwork (the whale's tail and nose). These are not blocked by the chest. Clearing the sides creates "tunnels" for your other pigs to shoot through later.

If you blindly tap pigs without seeing a clear line of sight, they will drop into the waiting slots. If you fill all 5 slots with pigs that can't find a target, you lose. Be patient. Let the belt move the pigs into a flanking position.

Last Details You Clean Up in Pixel Flow Whale Level

In the final moments, the whale is barely recognizable. You have likely collected most of the Golden Keys by destroying the blocks they sat on. The Chest is the only major thing remaining, surrounded by a few stubborn pixels.

Usually, the last blocks to go are the Black outline pixels or the deep Teal blocks that were hiding exactly behind the center of the chest. You will likely need to wait for your pigs to loop all the way to the Top belt to shoot downwards at these final stragglers. Once the last pixel vanishes, the chest fully unlocks, and the level ends.
