Privacy Policy
1. Information We Collect
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy outlines the types of information that we collect and how we use it.
- Log Data: Like many websites, we collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our site. This may include your computer's IP address, browser type, pages visited, time spent on those pages, and other statistics.
- Cookies: We use cookies to enhance your experience on our site. Cookies are small files that a site transfers to your computer's hard drive through your web browser. You can set your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent.
- User-Uploaded Content (Screenshots): When you use our "Level Solver" tool, you voluntarily upload image files (screenshots) to our servers. These images are processed specifically to identify game patterns and board layouts.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Improve our website and user experience.
- Understand how users interact with our site.
- Analyze usage patterns and trends.
- Process Level Solutions: We use image recognition technology to analyze your uploaded screenshots for the sole purpose of finding a matching video walkthrough in our database.
- Database Improvement: If your uploaded screenshot does not match a known level, we may temporarily store the image in our "Unsolved Queue." This allows our team to manually research the solution and update our database for future users.
3. Data Retention & Privacy of Screenshots
- Processing: Screenshots are processed automatically. We do not use these images to identify individuals or collect private data.
- Personal Data in Images: We advise users to crop their screenshots to show only the gameplay board. We are not responsible for any personal information (such as push notifications, personal photos, or status bar details) that you inadvertently include in your upload.
- Deletion: Screenshots that are successfully matched are generally discarded after processing. Screenshots of "Unsolved" levels are retained only as long as necessary to identify the correct solution, after which they are deleted.
4. Third-Party Services
We may use third-party services such as Google Analytics to help us understand how our site is being used. These services may collect information sent by your browser as part of a web page request, such as cookies or your IP address.
5. Data Security
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information and uploaded files. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
