Pixel Flow Level 998 Walkthrough

Pixel Flow Level 998 drops you onto a tropical scene. You have a massive red and pink crab hanging out on a tan sandy beach. Next to the crab sits a huge glass bottle with a treasure map rolled up inside. The top half is dominated by a massive light blue sky, puffy white clouds, and two distinct palm trees framing the sides. The rules here are strict. You match color-coded pigs on the conveyor belt to the same colored voxel cubes on the board. Every matched cube burns one ammo from your pig. If a pig has leftover ammo but no exposed cubes to shoot, it drops into one of your five waiting Slots. Fill all five Slots with useless pigs, and you lose. Period. You must peel this picture layer by layer from the outside in. Pixel Flow Level 998 is a very hard level. The massive color blocks hide ugly, fragmented black outlines underneath.

Pixel Flow Level 998 Overview

The scene tells a fun little story. A beach crab just stumbled upon a message in a bottle washed ashore. The whole bottom edge is a strip of dark blue ocean water capped with white surf. Above that, a solid block of tan and orange sand forms the beach. The crab sits dead center. It has bright pink upper shells, dark red lower claws, and big cartoonish white eyes staring right at the bottle.

The layout is highly asymmetrical. This ruins bad players. The left palm tree shoots straight up into the light blue sky. The right palm tree is shorter and gets cut off by the massive white and light blue bottle. That bottle takes up the entire lower right quadrant. The sky itself is completely unbalanced. A giant white cloud dominates the top right, while the top left is just an endless wall of light blue pixels. These weird shapes dictate exactly how you manage your pigs.

Step by step solution walkthrough for Pixel Flow Level 998

First Color Zone to Erase in Pixel Flow Level 998

  1. Clear the Light Blue Sky: Fire your light blue pigs immediately. The entire top left and the space between the palm trees is solid light blue. This gives your pigs plenty of targets to fully empty their ammo and disappear, keeping your Slots safe.
  2. Shave the Dark Blue Ocean: Hit the bottom row next. The dark blue ocean waves and the white surf sit completely exposed on the outer layer. Clear them out to reveal the bottom edge of the sand and the bottle.
  3. Trim the Green Palm Fronds: Grab a green pig and wipe out the leaves on both top corners. They sit on the very top layer and block the brown tree trunks underneath.

I start by shaving off the light blue sky because it acts as a massive shield over the crab and trees. Getting rid of it early opens up the entire top half of the board. You need that physical space cleared so you can actually see the brown trunks and the white cloud edges.

How to pass Pixel Flow Level 998 without power ups or boosters

Midway through Pixel Flow 998, the board looks like a disaster. The sky is gone. The dark blue ocean is gone. You are staring at the gutted remains of the crab and the bottle. The tan sand is deeply exposed. The biggest trap right now is the black outline. Both the crab and the glass bottle have thick black borders separating them from the background.

Do not grab pink or red pigs yet. You cannot reach the crab's inner body. Instead, wait for black pigs on the conveyor belt.

  1. Target the black pixels outlining the crab's claws on the left side.
  2. Target the black pixels forming the rim of the glass bottle on the right.
  3. Burn tan and orange pigs to clear out the remaining beach sand sitting between the crab's legs.

If you refuse to use power ups, you must strictly manage the black border. If you pull a pink pig now, it will hit maybe two exposed pixels on the crab's eye stalks and then jam up your Slots. Only grab colors that have massive, fully exposed surface areas. Clear the white clouds at the top. Clear the brown palm tree trunks. Leave the internal details of the crab and bottle isolated.

Last Details You Clean Up in Pixel Flow Level 998

The final moves in Pixel Flow Level 998 are incredibly localized. The background is completely gone. You are left with the fleshy pink and red center of the crab, and the glowing blue map inside the bottle. Look specifically at the center of the bottle. There is a bright red X painted on the map. You must clear the white and light blue glass glare sitting on top of that map before you can hit the red X.

Grab a red pig to finish off the crab's lower legs and that map X. Snag a final pink pig to clear the crab's face. Your absolute last move will likely be a rogue black or dark grey pig to clean up the final shading pixels hidden at the very bottom of the bottle. Match your remaining colors to these isolated pockets and secure the win.
