Pixel Flow Level 408 Walkthrough
This level takes us to the desert. The board features a massive, towering Saguaro cactus on the left, set against a bright blue sky and warm orange mesas in the background. It is a dense, colorful puzzle. You need to strip away the sky and the foreground sand to get to the core of the cactus and the mountains behind it.
Is it hard? Yes. Pixel Flow Level 408 is a very hard level because the colors are extremely segmented. You have huge blocks of sky (Light Blue) and Mountain (Orange), but the cactus itself is a messy mix of light and dark greens that can clog your pig slots if you aren't careful.
Pixel Flow Level 408 Overview
The scene is classic pixel art Americana: a hot desert day.
- Left Side: Dominated by the tall Saguaro cactus. It uses two shades of green: a lighter lime green for the body and darker forest green for the shading and ribs.
- Right Side: A large, solid block of orange and reddish-brown representing a distant rock formation or mesa.
- Top: A thick band of light blue sky with white clouds.
- Bottom/Foreground: A mix of dark grey rocks and white flowers near the base of the cactus.
The asymmetry here is the danger. The left side is vertical and thin (the cactus arms), while the right side is a solid, chunky block of orange. The bottom is "noisy"—lots of tiny white and grey pixels scattered around. This noise at the bottom is usually where players get stuck because those single stray pixels prevent you from clearing the deeper layers.

First Color Zone to Erase in Pixel Flow Level 408
You have two strong choices to open with, but one is safer.
- Light Blue (Sky): This is your safest bet. The top third of the screen is almost entirely Light Blue. By grabbing the Light Blue pigs immediately, you clear a massive chunk of the board without risking a clog. Since the sky is the "back" layer visually but often accessible from the top, clearing it simplifies the board instantly.
- Orange (Mountain): If Blue isn't available, go for Orange. The right side contains a huge, uninterrupted block of orange pixels.
Avoid: Do not start with Dark Grey or White. These colors are scattered at the bottom in small clusters. If you pick a White pig now, it will shoot three flowers and then sit in your waiting slot with 17 ammo left, clogging you up. Clear the big blocks first.
How to pass Pixel Flow Level 408 without power ups or boosters
Once the sky is gone, the level looks weird. You'll have a floating cactus and a half-eaten mountain. Here is where the trap lies.
The cactus is made of vertical stripes of Light Green and Dark Green. These stripes are long, but they are narrow.
- Focus on the Cactus Verticality: Look for the Green pigs. Because the cactus is tall, a single Green pig can often unload its entire ammo clip in one go if it hits the main trunk. Prioritize the Light Green pigs first, as that color makes up the bulk of the cactus body.
- The "Grey" Trap: The dark grey pixels form the ground and shadows behind the cactus. Do not pull a Grey pig unless you see a clear path to at least 10-15 grey blocks. Often, the grey pixels are hidden behind the green cactus arms. If you pull a Grey pig too early, it will hit the visible grey spots and then get stuck because the rest are buried under the green. Clear Green before Grey.
Mid-Game Logic: If you have a slot clogged with a White pig (from the clouds or flowers), try to clear the colors immediately surrounding the white flowers at the bottom. Usually, clearing the Orange mesa pixels on the bottom right will expose more white pixels, allowing that stuck pig to empty its clip and leave.
Last Details You Clean Up in Pixel Flow Level 408
The end game usually leaves you with the "skeleton" of the level.
- The Ribs: You will likely be left with the dark green vertical lines of the cactus. These are thin and annoying. Make sure you have a Dark Green pig ready for this specific cleanup.
- The Flowers: The final few pixels are often the white bits of the flowers at the very bottom, or the white clouds that were hidden behind the top of the cactus.
- Hidden Grey: Check the corners. Sometimes a single grey pixel hides in the bottom left or right corner, obscured by the UI or just hard to see against the dark background.
Don't panic if the board looks messy near the end. Just keep removing the color that is physically in front of the others. In Pixel Flow Level 408, that usually means finishing the Green Cactus completely before worrying about the last scraps of Grey ground behind it.
