Pixel Flow Level 581 Walkthrough

This level features a pixel-art style calendar or planner page, complete with a spiral binding at the top and a row of cupcakes along the bottom edge. The main challenge here is the "confetti" inside the calendar grid—tiny scattered dots of color that can easily clog your waiting slots if you aren't careful.

The rules are standard but punishing: you must match the pig color to the voxel blocks. Pigs have limited ammo but will sit in your waiting slots if they still have shots left. Because the calendar has so many single-pixel details, this is a prime level for getting your slots jammed. Due to this specific trap, this is a very hard level.

Pixel Flow Level 581 Overview

Imagine a hanging wall calendar. That’s your battlefield. The artwork is framed by a thick, multi-colored border: a heavy Red bar on the left, a Dark Green bar on the right, and Bright Green strips across the top and bottom.

Inside this frame sits the white paper of the calendar. It’s not empty, though. It is filled with a grid of small colored squares—Red, Orange, Lime Green, and Brown—representing marked dates. At the very top, you have brown loops representing the spiral binding. At the very bottom, blocking the last row of dates, sits a decorative row of five cupcakes (Tan base, White frosting, Blue berry).

The asymmetry is important. The Red vertical bar on the left is a massive, safe ammo dump. The Dark Green on the right is similar. The middle is chaos.

First Color Zone to Erase in Pixel Flow Level 581

Your priority is the outer frame, specifically the Bright Green or Red.

I start by attacking the Bright Green horizontal bars at the top and bottom. These are long, continuous strips. They are perfect for maximizing ammo usage immediately. If you don't have a green pig, the Red bar on the left is your next best target. It is a solid vertical chunk that will clear quickly without leaving a pig stranded in your waiting slots.

Do not touch the "dates" (the small colored dots inside the white area) yet. They are too scattered. You need to open up the board first.

How to pass Pixel Flow Level 581 without power ups or boosters

The mid-game here is dangerous. Once the frame is gone, you are left with the White calendar page and the "cupcakes" at the bottom.

  1. Clear the Cupcakes: The row of cupcakes at the bottom (Tan and White/Blue) acts as a physical wall. Use Tan pigs to eat the bases and White pigs to eat the frosting. This exposes the bottom edge of the calendar grid.
  2. The White Whale: The biggest color block remaining is White. It forms the background of the paper. You must aggressively target White to "shave" the page down.
  3. The Confetti Trap: As you clear the White paper, you will expose isolated blocks of Red, Orange, and Lime Green that represent the dates. This is the trap. Do not summon a colored pig (like Orange) if you only see one or two Orange blocks exposed. If you do, that pig will shoot twice, have 18 ammo left, and sit in your slot, blocking you.
  4. Wait for Clusters: Only send a colored pig (Red/Orange/Green) when you have cleared enough White background to expose multiple targets of that color. You want to drain that pig's ammo as much as possible in one go.

Last Details You Clean Up in Pixel Flow Level 581

By the end, the white page will be shredded, leaving a floating skeleton of "dates" and the spiral binding.

  • The Spiral Binding: The top of the calendar has Brown loops. These usually connect to vertical brown lines running down the page. Save a Brown pig for the end, as these lines often persist after the white paper is gone.
  • The Stragglers: You will likely have one or two stubborn pixels of Red or Orange hiding behind a larger block. Since you refused to use power ups, you might have to cycle through your queue to find the right pig. Ensure you keep at least one waiting slot open at all times during the final cleanup so you can cycle pigs if necessary.
