Pixel Flow Level 79 Walkthrough

This level features a blocky, golden-yellow Gingerbread Man (or cookie creature) set against a dark teal background. The central figure has big white eyes, an orange bowtie, and is framed by a border of dark brown pixels.

To beat Pixel Flow Level 79, you need to strip away the outer layers—specifically the brown frame and the green background—to expose the yellow core. However, this board is tricky because of the Key Blocks embedded in the brown border. You cannot just spray and pray; you must clear specific rows to hit those keys or you will get stuck.

Is this a very hard level? No, but it’s annoying. The keys act as hard stops. If you don't prioritize the pigs that can hit those keys early, your waiting slots will fill up with useless ammo, leading to a loss.

Pixel Flow Level 79 Overview

Imagine a gingerbread cookie trapped in a box. The "box" is that dark brown rectangular frame holding everything in. Inside that frame, the cookie floats in a sea of teal green pixels.

The cookie itself is mostly yellow, with bright orange feet and an orange center (the bowtie). He has white eyes and white cuffs on his arms.

The critical asymmetry here is the Key placement. There are four keys locked into the brown border: two on the left vertical edge, two on the right vertical edge.

  • Left Keys: Sitting around the middle-waist area.
  • Right Keys: Sitting parallel to the left ones.

These keys are the gatekeepers. Until you hit them, you might be locked out of deeper layers or special blocks. More importantly, the brown border is the "skin" of this level. It protects the green background. If you don't peel the brown skin, you can't access the green meat, and you certainly can't reach the yellow cookie center.

First Color Zone to Erase in Pixel Flow Level 79

I start by attacking the Orange and White bottom row or the Brown vertical borders.

Why? Look at the very bottom of the board. There is a solid row of Orange and White cubes (marked with 7s in the screenshot). This is the "floor" of the level. Clearing this floor opens up the bottom edge for vertical shots.

However, the Brown pigs are your MVPs early on. The brown pixels form the vertical walls holding the keys. You need to use Brown pigs to shave down those side walls. As soon as you see a Brown pig, grab it. It will eat away at the border, eventually hitting the squares containing the Keys. If you ignore the brown border, the green pixels behind it remain invincible, and your Green pigs will just clog your inventory slots because they have no valid targets yet.

How to pass Pixel Flow Level 79 without power ups or boosters

The mid-game of Pixel Flow Level 79 is where people lose. You've cleared the bottom row and maybe some of the top. Now you have a half-eaten cookie.

At this stage, Green becomes the priority. Once the brown border is compromised, the teal green background is exposed. You will likely have a backlog of Green pigs. Use them now. The green layer is thick, covering most of the empty space around the cookie. Clearing the green is essential to exposing the sides of the yellow body.

The Trap: Do not grab Yellow pigs yet. The yellow body is the deepest layer. If you grab three Yellow pigs while the green background is still solid, you will have three slots filled with pigs that cannot shoot anything. This is a game-over state.

Always check the "line of sight." If a pig is on the conveyor belt, trace its path.

  1. Does it hit a brown border block? Yes -> Grab it.
  2. Does it hit a green background block that is exposed? Yes -> Grab it.
  3. Does it hit a yellow block buried deep in the middle? No -> Let it loop.

Wait for the outer shell to break before bringing in the yellow artillery.

Last Details You Clean Up in Pixel Flow Level 79

By the end, the brown frame is gone, and the green sea is drained. All that remains is the yellow Gingerbread Man and his orange bowtie.

The final moves usually involve White and Orange pigs to clean up the specific details—the eyes, the cuffs, and the bowtie. These are small targets. A White pig might only have 2 or 3 valid targets left (the eyes). Be careful not to pick up a high-ammo White pig (like a 20-ammo unit) if only 2 white blocks remain, unless you have empty slots to spare. It will sit in your tray forever.

Your final clear will likely be the massive block of Yellow that makes up the head and torso. Once the detail colors (White/Orange) are gone, the Yellow pigs will shred the remaining carcass of the cookie in seconds.
