Logically, the dark grey blocks are the outermost layer on the bottom half. If you try to shoot the Green stems or the Purple background first, your pigs will just bounce off or sit in the waiting slots because the Grey is covering them.

Simultaneously, use White pigs to clear the top stripes. Those white blocks are totally exposed. They are free real estate. Clearing them opens up the Pink layer beneath, keeping your conveyer belt moving so you don't get clogged.

Save a fresh Black/Dark Grey pig for the very end. The center of the big sunflower is thick. It usually takes a full clip of ammo to clear just that one spot.
