Every time you have a spare slot or a pig color that is currently useless (like Blue or White before those layers are exposed), throw it at the ice if possible. Note: Usually, pigs only shoot matching colors. If standard colored pigs won't target the ice, you must rely on special gray/neutral pigs or explosives that come down the belt. If the game forces you to use standard ammo on the ice, treat it as a trash can for colors you don't need.
